Rooms

Standard rooms
The hotel has a vast number of bedrooms under its roof, with a total of 447, many of which are standard rooms. They are designed in a modern fashion with a local feel while the furnishings are classy, as is to be expected of a venue of this standard.
Guests receive a vast array of features and amenities. They have access to the business centre and receive a free newspaper to their room each morning. There is plenty in the way of entertainment, such as a satellite or cable television, a DVD player, a CD player and a stereo, while other facilities are available as added extras. If you are thirsty or need a quick snack you can make the most of the mini bar, the coffee maker and the tea maker.
Meanwhile, if you plan to work during your time at the Intercontinental Park Lane, there is a work desk with a lamp and an in-room printer to help your cause, as well as access to printing, faxing and phone facilities.
Finally, further luxuries include a bathrobe, a hairdryer, an in-room safe, air conditioning, a trouser press, an iron with ironing board and a sofa bed. Standard room guests are able to make the most of the Executive Club Level but are required to pay extra for the experience.
Suites
A total of 60 of the hotel’s bedrooms are suites, rooms which feature a blend of neo-classical and contemporary design. The luxuries and services are seemingly endless in this style of accommodation with complimentary access to the Executive Lounge, a 24-hour butler, an Aston Martin drive and concierge among the highlights.
Of course, the suites are larger than the standard rooms and come with separate living spaces and kitchen areas. And so, on top of the tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar, there is a microwave, plates and glasses and an ice maker in the fridge.
Visitors to the suites receive the same entertainment services as those in standard and executive accommodation. They are able to make the most of a satellite or cable television, a CD player, a DVD player and a sound system, while other items are available at an added cost.
There are several complimentary aspects for suite guests to enjoy, such as dinner snacks, a buffet breakfast, cocktail hour, drinks and lunch snacks. There is also a separate check-in area, reducing your wait and enhancing your service. All the utilities for business users are available in suites, while something else in common with the standard rooms is the presence of connecting rooms.
Executive Rooms
Executive room guests are able to enter the seventh floor Club Intercontinental lounge with its views out over Buckingham Palace. It is available at no added cost. The executive rooms provide a bridge between the standard rooms and the suites and are a luxurious option for hotel visitors. Like with suite guests, those in executive rooms can make the most of complimentary buffet breakfast, continental breakfast, lunch snacks, dinner snacks and drinks.
They are also able to use the business centre and receive a variety of facilities to help business users in particular. The rooms have a work desk with a lamp as well as an in-room printer, while also available is a phone with voicemail, fax and an in-room safe.
For entertainment there is a television, a CD player and stereo and a DVD player, as well as other aspects such as movies and video rental which require further spending. You can also take something from the mini bar or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the comfort of your own room. Finally, other amenities include a trouser press, an iron with ironing board, air conditioning and a separate hanging closet.
